Program Tuition (one-term)

Service Description

The program is a one-term commitment. Two one-hour lessons per week. We have trialed once weekly lessons in the past and it wasn't effective. For intervention to be effective, it must occur regularly. Tier 3 intervention. This level of intervention is rare in Canberra. It is one-on-one intensive intervention with a trained and experienced primary school teacher. Tuition can be provided for students in Year 1 up to adult. Adults are welcome to receive tuition online. Explicit, multisensory instruction in reading accuracy, fluency and comprehension, and spelling skills. The program is a test to teach method. Students will only be taught parts of the program where they have gaps in their knowledge. Available at student's school or at tutor's home in Ngunnawal ** Suitable for students with or without diagnosis such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, adhd and autism. Any low progress reader or speller with benefit from this program. **Please note: Tuition can only be offered at a student's school with permission from the Principal, and at Northside schools.
